Odisha Chhatra and Yuva Congress workers fled from a Bhubaneswar protest after a bee swarm attacked. They demanded Principal Secretary Bishnupada Sethi's arrest over a bribery case.

Several people were seen fleeing in panic to escape an attack by a swarm of bees during a protest by Odisha Chhatra Congress and Yuva Congress workers in front of the official residence of Principal Secretary to Odisha government IAS Bishnupada Sethi in Bhubaneswar on Monday.

As per reports, several workers of Odisha Chhatra Congress and Yuva Congress staged protest demanding arthe rest of Sethi in connection with the Rs 10 lakh bribery case.

However, they were forced to run away from the spot in panic following the bee attack. Even police personnel had to duck and flee from the spot in fear. Some journalists were found reporting the event by ducking on the ground.

The bees attacked the protestors after somebody reportedly disturbed the hive in the nearby area.

However, the Congress workers returned to continue their protest again after the bee attack subsided. They shouted slogans demanding the arrest of Sethi.

Some of the protestors were detained by police as they tried to break into the official residence of Sethi by climbing and jumping the barricades.

“Many blacklisted companies were given tenders during the tenure of BJD. We urge the Mohan Majhi government to arrest Bishnupada Sethi immediately for his involvement in the Rs 10 lakh bribery case. Where is he hiding? Why is he not appearing before CBI despite summons? We also demand the arrest of Minister Nityananda Gond for the corruption,” said a protesting Congress leader.
