Odisha CM Mohan Majhi leaves for New Delhi to take part in LWE review meeting

The review meeting chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be conducted at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi on Sunday left for New Delhi on a three-day visit to take part in the review meeting with the Chief Ministers of Left-Wing Extremism (LWE)-affected states.

The review meeting chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be conducted at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on Monday.

Chief Ministers of eight states - Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Telangana, Odisha, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh will participate in the meeting.

As many as five Union Ministers of different ministries closely involved with providing development support to the LWE-affected states will also attend the meeting.

Union Home Ministry has informed that Additional National Security Advisor and senior officers from Centre, states and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) will also participate in the deliberations.

Apart from attending the review meeting, CM Majhi is also scheduled to meet some Union Ministers to deliberate on several issues pertaining to the interest of Odisha.
