High drama on Bhubaneswar street: 2 women indulge in fight, exchange blows over social media post

High drama unfolded on Bhubaneswar streets on Sunday afternoon after two women indulged in a fight at Jayadev Bhawan parking area over social media posts.

The two women, identifying themselves as social workers, get into a fight and hurl abuses at each other forcing onlookers to wait for a while to ascertain the reason behind the fighting.

The fight began while one of them was giving a bite to some web channels. Suddenly another woman appeared and asked why she was speaking before the media and started using filthy language against the former, sources said.

The fight took an ugly turn when the women physically assaulted each other by dragging their hair and blowing punches. The high drama continued for around 30 minutes on the busy streets of the capital city.

On being informed about the incident, police rushed to the spot and intervened in the matter. Later, the situation was brought under control.
