Examinations concluded in March, evaluation began in April

Notably, the CHSE Plus 2 board examinations, covering Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational streams, concluded on March 27, 2025.

The exams, conducted in 1,276 centres across the state, spanned 22 sittings and ran from 10 am to 1 pm daily. A robust anti-malpractice setup, including CCTV surveillance and a five-tier squad, ensured fair conduct throughout the process.

Following the exams, the evaluation process began promptly on April 2, with over 16,000 examiners assessing answer scripts. Examiners were assigned to check either 20 papers of 50 marks or 30 papers of 80 marks per day.

Over 3.9 lakh students await results

This year, a total of 3,93,618 students appeared for the examinations. Of these, 2,47,391 were from the Arts stream, 1,14,980 from Science, 25,526 from Commerce, and 5,721 from Vocational Education. The results for all these streams are likely to be released simultaneously.

The practical marks had been submitted in advance. The CHSE has also facilitated a process for students suspected of malpractice to present their grievances before final decisions are made.

It is worth noting that the minister did not specify an official date for the publication of Plus 2 results. As such, students and parents are advised to rely solely on official channels for updates and avoid acting on unverified messages or social media rumours.
