CBSE Class 12 Results Announced
The results of the class 12 board examinations conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) were declared on Tuesday. Odisha has recorded an overall pass percentage of 78.74%.
Among the top-performing regions, Bhubaneswar stood out with an impressive 83.64% pass rate, showcasing strong academic performance in the state capital.
According to the data released by the CBSE, Bhubaneswar also saw a significant gender-based result breakdown.
While 80.77% of the male students cleared the exam, the pass percentage for female students stood at 77.05%. In terms of absolute numbers, 17,127 boys and 14,943 girls successfully passed the CBSE Class 12 examination in the Bhubaneswar zone.
Educationists have welcomed the results, stating that the consistent performance in Bhubaneswar reflects improved access to educational resources and focused efforts by schools. However, they also emphasized the need to bridge the slight gender gap in performance.
With a state-wide pass percentage nearing 79%, the CBSE and Odisha government are optimistic about future educational outcomes, particularly with continued investments in digital learning and teacher training programs.
