Recent theft at Congress leader Niranjan Patnaik’s house sparked much discussion, but even more attention has been drawn to the thief aka ‘Spider Satish’. The arrested man leads an extravagant lifestyle. He spends large amounts of money on foreign dogs, luxurious items, and follows a strict fitness regime.
Known for his life of luxury in the homes of the wealthy, Satish’s activities have now been revealed by the police. The police have also released a video showing how this notorious thief carried out his crimes and escaped.
The notorious thief from South India has left the Commissionerate Police stunned with his extravagant lifestyle and criminal methods.
In 2023, Satish had attempted a theft at the house of a wealthy individual in Bhubaneswar. However, before the security guard could catch him, he escaped with a cinematic, Spider-Man-like stunt.
The recent incident occurred in January, 2025, when Satish successfully planned a break-in at Niranjan Patnaik’s house.
Fearless and confident, Spider Satish maintained his fitness by going to gym and practiced high-pitch vocal training under the guidance of a private trainer. He used these skills in his criminal activities while robbing the homes of city millionaires.
The thief from Andhra Pradesh has escaped the police in South India. Out of 70 cases, 30 cases are related to robberies from the homes of billionaires. The loot consists of cash and jewelry. He uses the stolen wealth to maintain his luxurious lifestyle.
For his foreign-bred dogs from Taiwan and Indonesia, he spends lakhs of rupees every month. He even buys balls worth lakhs of rupees for the dogs to play.
Satish does not have just one girlfriend, but several. With some, he has enjoyed adventures like zip-lining in Kerala; while with others, he has travelled to various places. It is said that he used to impress women by gifting them diamonds.
Spider Satish, who has two wives, spends romantic time with a ‘Pushpa-look’ in luxurious settings. Not only that, he also owns four flats in Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Vizianagaram, which have expensive furniture.
After his arrest, the police have requested a 5-day remand to gather more details.
“Satish was targeting excessively rich people and was living a lavish lifestyle with the stolen valuables. We will appeal to court to bring him on remand for further probe. We will also try to recover the stolen property from him,” Bhubaneswar DCP Pinak Mishra said.
