The father of the 18-year-old Nepali student Prisha Sah, who was found dead in her hostel room at KIIT University on Thursday, demanded justice over the tragic incident.
"We demand justice following a proper investigation into the incident," said Sah's father.
As per reports, Sah's body was handed over to her family members after the post-mortem was conducted at AIIMS Bhubaneswar by a three-member medical team under tight security and in the presence of an executive magistrate, a tehsildar, and officers from the Commissionerate Police.
The deceased’s grieving family, who had flown in from Nepal, has decided to perform her final rites at Swargadwar in Puri on Saturday instead of taking the body back to Nepal.
Meanwhile, the Commissionerate Police continue to investigate the circumstances leading to Sah's death. As many as ten persons, including Prisha's roommates and nearby hostel mates, have been questioned about the incident.
