Mystery surrounds electrician's death in Bargarh, relatives allege murder

An electrician was allegedly murdered by some miscreants at Pandaripathar area near Bargarh Panchayat College in the district on late Friday night.

The deceased has been identified as Debaraj Panigrahi.

As per reports, Panigrahi's body was discovered half-buried near the Pandaripathar area.

However, the motive behind this gruesome act still remains a mystery. Local residents are clueless whether Panigrahi had any old enmity with anybody over any matter.

Investigation Underway

Bargarh Gramanchal Police is reportedly probing the case to uncover the circumstances that led to Panigrahi's death. While the investigation is ongoing, the incident has cast a pall of gloom over the local community.

Meanwhile, the deceased's sister, Sanjukta Jyotish, has publicly alleged that the murder was premeditated, demanding justice for her brother. 

Sister Alleges Murder

"My brother has been murdered, and it's a pre-planned murder. The murderers should be arrested soon, and stern actions should be taken against the persons involved in it. We demand justice," said Sanjukta.

Sanjukta, who is married in Kalahandi, reached Bargarh this morning after getting the news of her brother's death.

This violent incident has left the local residents in shock, raising concerns over safety in the area. 

As per police sources, more information about the incident could be divulged after the completion of the investigation.
