Minor girl 'gang raped’ in Cuttack, admitted to SCB hospital

In a shocking incident, a minor girl was allegedly gang-raped by some miscreants in Madhupatna area of Cuttack on Thursday.

As per reports, the girl was abducted by some miscreants on Thursday when she was going to Poparada from her home in Madhupatna.

Her family alleged the girl was gang raped by those miscreants.

A police complaint was filed at Madhupatna police station following which a probe has been launched by the police to nab the accused.

The girl was admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack after her health deteriorated.

This is the second such instance of minor girl rape in Cuttack City in just 15 days.

Earlier, a 10-year-old girl was allegedly raped in the College Square area of Cuttack on January 31.

As per reports, the minor girl is an inmate of an orphanage in the College Square area. When she was returning from school, the miscreant allegedly raped her on the way.
