Man stabbed in broad daylight, previous enmity suspected

In a worrying incident, a young man was attacked with a knife by a group in Khallikote, Ganjam. The victim, Shambhu Singh from Manikpur village, suffered wounds to his thighs, head, and arms following the altercation near Rahdebi Square.

In the immediate aftermath, local residents rescued Shambhu in a critical condition, taking him to Khallikote CHC. However, due to the gravity of his injuries, he was later moved to the Maharaja Krishna Chandra Gajapati Medical College and Hospital (MKCG) in Berhampur for further treatment.

The motive behind the attack is currently unclear, although early suspicions point to previous disagreements. Law enforcement officers have reached the scene and initiated a comprehensive inquiry into the matter.
