Landslide disrupts train services on Koraput-Kirandul line; restoration work underway
Train services on the Koraput-Kirandul rail line remain disrupted for the second consecutive day after a landslide between Malliguda and Jarati stations in the Koraput-Jeypore section. The following trains have been cancelled or partially cancelled due to the landslide and ongoing track clearance:
Railway authorities have assured passengers that all efforts are being made for early restoration of services. “We regret the inconvenience caused and request passengers to check the latest train status before planning their journey,” said an official statement.
