The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), founded by former BJD MP Achyuta Samanta, is now in controversy following the death of a girl student from Nepal and mistreatment meted out towards other students recently.

This committee is tasked with conducting evaluations every 15 days at the KIIT campus to assess and report on developments.
Minister assured that all necessary steps are being undertaken to address the issues and maintain educational standards.
