IAS Reshuffle in Odisha: K Sudarshan Chakravarthy appointed MD of State Civil Supplies Corp

The Odisha government on Tuesday implemented a minor reshuffle at the IAS level, assigning additional responsibilities to several key officials.

As part of the changes, Samarth Verma, who is currently serving as the Director of DTET (Directorate of Technical Education and Training), has been given the additional charge of Director, Minor Minerals Department.  Verma also holds the additional charge of Managing Director of Odisha Film Development Corporation.

As per the official notification, K. Sudarshan Chakraborty has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Odisha State Civil Supplies Corporation. 

The post is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Additional Secretary provided in the IAS cadre of the state. 

 Meanwhile, Shubham Saxena has been assigned the role of Director, Agriculture & Food Production Department.

These administrative changes are expected to streamline governance and improve efficiency in the respective departments.
