 A GRP head constable turned a saviour for a woman passenger from Nagpur after dragging her from the jaws of death at Khordha Railway Station. As per initial reports, the GRP constable rescued the woman passenger from falling under a moving train.

In a video grab of the incident, two women including Manorama Srivastav of Nagpur were seen rushing to board the Rishikesh-Puri Utkal Express. As the train was leaving the station, Manorama was seen struggling to board the train with luggage in her hand.

Within seconds, she fell down after losing her balance. On seeing this, GRP head constable Hemabati Behera rushed to the spot and pulled the woman passenger to safety.

It is said that the timely action of the GRP constable saved the woman passenger’s life. As the passenger was in a state of panic after the incident, steps were taken to pacify her. Later, the woman passenger was allowed to leave on another train.
