From the coast to the interior, the mercury is on the rise in Odisha. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a further rise of 2 to 4 degree Celsius in the temperature in the next one or two days.
As per the IMD, a cloud-less sky coupled with dry air is aiding the temperature rise over Odisha skies.
On the other hand, there is a possibility of rain in some districts including the interior Odisha and the coast of the state under the influence of western disturbance.
The Western Disturbance is likely to aid norwester in some parts of the state on March 16 and 17 as well.
The IMD has issued a Yellow warning for Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj districts on March 16 and Sundargarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts on March 17.
Following the norwester, the temperature is predicted to fall by 2-3 degrees Celsius.
