Acting on the complaint filed two days ago by two bar girls, who revealed about illegal activities at a dance bar in Bhubaneswar, the Excise Department has served a notice to the concerned bar and asked it to deposit CCTV footage of the past one month including the night of the incident cited by the complainants.
Meanwhile, amid the crackdown of the Excise Department on dance bars in Bhubaneswar, the video footage of the ruckus between the bar girls and the bar staff in the concerned dance bar in Bhubaneswar has gone viral.
In the purported video, it can be seen how a ruckus unfolded in the bar at around 3.30 AM with the bar girls and the staff engaging in a tiff.
Two days ago, the two girls seen in the video had alleged about the illegal activities going on in the bar. They had alleged before the camera that all sorts of illegal activities were being encouraged at the bar. They had even lodged a complaint at the Capital Police Station.
After a complaint was registered against the bar, Capital Police summoned four persons from the bar and interrogated them.
According to the IIC of the Capital Police Station, the Excise Department will form a special team to investigate the matter.
