Cuttack Mayor's official FB page hacked, miscreants upload obscene post; complaint lodged

In yet another instance of rising cybercrime, fraudsters have allegedly hacked the official Facebook page of Cuttack Mayor Subhash Singh. As per initial reports, the hackers allegedly posted obscene content on the status of the official Facebook page of the Cuttack Mayor last night.

After the matter triggered a lot of speculation, Singh issued a clarification on the matter.

"My official Subhash Singh page has been hacked. As a result, my social media team is unable to gain access to block it. The miscreants have posted some obscene content. I have sought help from cybercrime officials," said Singh.

Singh further appealed to people to block his official page from their respective accounts.
