Cuttack gets smart bus for safer journey; read to know details 

Imagine while travelling on a bus you want to report to the police about the reckless driving of the driver or about any miscreant misbehaving with you. 

A smart bus with aforesaid features and many more will be plying between Cuttack and Jeypore soon. The Cuttack-based bus owner is the proud owner of this bus. 

In this bus, there are switches on both sides above the windows. While travelling if a passenger is misbehaved with or they notice the driver getting reckless with driving or in case of any mishap, they can push the button. Once pushed, the nearby police station gets an alert.

The bus also comes with another unique feature. If a tipsy driver tries to drive the vehicle, it won’t allow the same. The bus also has water sprinklers as well and in case of fire, these will help douse the flame. Similarly, if smoke is detected inside, the smoke detectors will raise an alarm. 

According to the owner of the bus, a passenger doesn’t have to pay anything extra for having all these features.
