CBI raid in Bhubaneswar, cash around Rs 1 crore seized from luxury car

Sleuths of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted a raid in Bhubaneswar on Saturday night. As per sources, the raid was carried out in front of the Mayfair Hotel in Bhubaneswar. The raid was reportedly carried out on a luxury vehicle. 

As per reports, net cash worth around Rs 1 crore and gold ornaments have been seized from the luxury vehicle. As many as 4 persons in the vehicle are taken into custody. CBI officials have also seized the vehicle.

As per sources, the car is registered in the name of a company. A six-member CBI team conducted the raid with the help of local police when a deal was going on, informed sources.

However, what was the deal and who were involved in it could not be confirmed immediately.

No comments could be obtained from the CBI officials regarding the raid.
