Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Lekhashree Samantsinghar on Saturday levelled serious allegations against Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader and former minister Susanta Singh. The senior BJP leader today alleged that Raja Khan, the close aide of dread Uttar Pradesh criminal Guddu Muslim, has links and is an associate of BJD’s Susanta Singh.

Guddu Muslim is said to be the close associate of slain gangster Atiq Ahmed. Guddu has been absconding ever since the killing of gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf recently.

Guddu Muslim is now in the news after several national media reports stated that he was reportedly taking shelter in Odisha’s Puri. According to reports, Uttar Pradesh STF recently questioned one person at Bhatli in Bargarh district in connection with Guddu Muslim. The said person reportedly has links with the driver of gangster Guddu.

A five-member team visited Bargarh on April 18. The team camped in Bargarh for two days and grilled one person, the reports said.

“Dread gangster Atiq Ahmed’s associate Guddu Muslim was found in Puri by Uttar Pradesh STF. What was Odisha Police doing? It is a clear failure of Odisha Intelligence and policing,” said Samantsinghar.

According to Samantsinghar, it is now being found that the associate of Guddu Muslim, Raja Khan is the aide of former minister Susanta Singh.

"Raja Khan is one of the main associates in the entire crime syndicate of the former BJD minister. What is the Odisha Police doing,” questioned Samantsinghar.

Meanwhile, the BJD leader could not be contacted over the allegations brought by the BJP leader.
