Bihar Sharif vs Odisha clock tower: IAS Deepak Kumar Mishra trolled
A clock tower erected in Bihar for a whopping Rs 40 lakh has ticked off the internet for many reasons. It all began after social media users shared a picture of the newly-inaugurated clock tower on X. Upon realising that it was constructed at a price of Rs 40 lakh, netizens wasted no time in trolling IAS Deepak Mishra who is Bihar Sharif’s Municipal Commissioner.
Shockingly, the clock in the tower also stopped working a day after its inauguration. Reports suggested that thieves barged into the structure and stole the copper wires. Since then, the time displayed on the clock is 4:20.
This shabbily painted, poorly finished, concrete clock tower in Bihar Sharif, built under 'Smart City' project, had its clock stop working within 24 hours of inauguration.

IAS Deepak Mishra Reservation:
Fed up with the corruption, netizens dug out the profile of IAS Deepak Mishra who now has been accused of using reservation to qualify UPSC. Popular X user Anuradha Tiwari shared that Deepak Kumar Mishra (Rank 511) did use reservation in the PwD category.
After facing brickbats and being subjected to relentless trolling, the IAS claimed that the clock tower was not inaugurated and was still under construction.
“The clock tower has not yet been inaugurated as the project is still underway. During the Pragati Yatra, the clock was briefly made operational, but a few days later, unknown individuals stole the cables, making it defunct. Reinstallation work needs to be done,” Indian Express quoted Mishra.

Social Media Trolling:
“This shabbily painted, poorly finished, concrete clock tower in Bihar Sharif, built under Smart City project, has its clock stop working within 24 hours of inauguration. Guess the production cost? Rs 40 Lakhs for this architectural marvel! Hats off,” shared a user.
Likewise, another user trolled, “Our famed Deepak Mishra IAs is behind the iconic watch tower at Bihar Sharif. Greatest engineering marvel ever seen by mankind.”
“Thank you Deepak Mishra for the watch tower. It is an architectural marvel capable of showing the correct time two times a day,” trolled another user.
