A shopkeeper was allegedly attacked by some youths near Jagannath temple at Baramunda under Khandagiri Police limits after he reportedly denied them credit. 

The whole incident was captured on CCTV cameras and the footage has been accessed by OTV.

Following the incident, the shopkeeper, Rajib Khilar, lodged a complaint with Khandagiri Police Station. In the complaint, it has been stated that four youths of Baramunda were behind the incident which occurred at 10.30 pm on April 6.

Rajib alleged that the youths barged into the shop and attacked him. Then, they ransacked his shop and damaged articles worth over Rs one lakh, he alleged.

Rajib was also critically injured in the attack and was admitted to the Capital Hospital.

Meanwhile, police registered a case and started an investigation. Raids are being carried out at different locations to nab the accused.  
No comments were received from the police.
