Following the attack, Jena was admitted to the Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital with severe head injuries and is currently undergoing treatment.
Sources also mentioned that a group of 3-4 people arrived at the bar, located near Motel Chhak, and demanded alcohol at around 11:30 PM.
However, since the bar had already closed, Jena did not take the order and refused to serve their request. Regardless, the group continued to pressurize the staff, who was at that time, in the process of shutting down the establishment.
Looking at the shop shutting down and Jena consistently refusing to hand over alcohol to the group, they turned violent and reportedly attacked him.
The Bhadrak Town Police Station has been informed about the incident. While the authorities did not comment on the issue, further investigations are underway.
