Amidst the ongoing political slugfest, national media on Tuesday reported that slain gangster Atiq Ahmed’s aide Guddu Muslim, who is an accused in the Umesh Pal case, was in Odisha.

As per the reports, Guddu Muslim stayed in Odisha’s Bargarh for almost 12 days from April 2. After staying here till April 13, Guddu Muslim fled to Chhattisgarh.

Sources said Guddu Muslim also left behind a bag in Bargarh. Apart from Odisha, Guddu Muslim travelled to places like Meerut, Ajmer, Jhansi, Nashik, Pune. He was frequently changing locations to avoid suspicion and deceive the Special Task Force (STF).

Guddu Muslim was called the 'bomb specialist' in the gang of the slain gangster Atiq Ahmed. Recently, a team of Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) had come to Bargarh and quizzed Guddu Muslim’s aide Raja Khan.
