While Jharsuguda is yet to come out of the shocking incident of abduction and brutal killing of minor boy Samarth Agarwal over ransom, another minor boy has been allegedly kidnapped in the district. This back-to-back incident has sent shockwaves across Odisha raising serious law and order concerns.

According to sources, a minor boy from Buromaal area in the district has gone missing since April 7, and a complaint in this regard has been lodged at Jharsuguda police station.

Mother of the missing boy fall sick and was admitted to hospital on April 7. The minor boy, who was with his brother on the fateful day, went missing from there, sources informed.

Meanwhile, Jharsuguda police has launched a search operation to trace the kidnapped minor boy. A kidnapping case has been lodged as per the complaint of the minor's family, informed Jharsuguda SP.

Later in the day, the missing boy was rescued from Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh. Sources in the police said, it is not a kidnapping case as the boy had gone to the neighbouring state on his own.

It is worthwhile to mention that Samarth Agarwal, son of a businessman in mineral-rich Jharsuguda, was abducted on March 27 and his body was found in Bargarh on March 28.

Later, police arrested two persons- Amit Kumar Sharma of Jharsuguda and Dinesh Kumar Agarwal of Brajrajnagar in connection with the case.
