In a second such loot in three days, armed miscreants looted a godown and office of an e-commerce company at Ashoknagar area in Cuttack’s Athgarh on Monday.

As per reports, two bike-borne miscreants with masks on their faces arrived at the godown on Monday morning and threatened the staff with guns. Then they decamped with cash worth lakhs of rupees.

The police reached the spot after receiving information about the loot and began a probe to nab the robbers.

Recently, on November 11, over eight masked miscreants carrying firearms chased an ATM van in an SUV and motorcycles. They waylaid the van at a secluded place near Kalim Bagicha Rice Mill under Tigiria Police limits.

As per reports, pointing a pistol, miscreants asked the driver to stop the van. Thereafter, the miscreants fled from the spot with a trunk loaded with cash from the van. The trunk reportedly had cash of over Rs 1.5 crore.

While the police are yet to make any headway in the ATM van loot case, miscreants have struck an e-commerce godown today throwing a challenge to the law enforcement agencies.
