Meanwhile, BJD senior leader Prasanna Acharya said that the CBI will carry out the investigation if there is any corruption.
“We will not oppose if CBI carries out an investigation into the case. However, many people in India are in doubt that the central agencies are not used properly. If there is any corruption, CBI has the responsibility to carry out the investigation,” said Acharya.
According to senior Congress leader Srikant Jena, CBI should proceed based on evidence if there is any corruption.
“CBI must have got some evidences and that is why they have summoned the officer. CBI should proceed with the investigation based on proper evidence,” said Jena.
