3 bodies with bullet wounds on heads found inside car in Jharsuguda

At least three bodies, including body of a minor girl, with bullet wounds were found inside a car at Uddharlakhanpur near Banipahada in Jharsuguda district on Thursday.

The deceased were a 12-year old girl and her parents. They are reportedly residents of Kalinagar area under Brajrajnagar block in the district.

As per reports, all of them have sustained bullet injuries on their heads.

Upon being informed, local police reached the spot with a scientific team. Investigation into the incident is currently underway.

Locals are suspecting that the family might have committed suicide. 

As per the primary investigation by the police, it is suspected that the husband might have committed suicide after killing his wife and daughter over some family issues.

However, the exact motive behind the death is yet to be ascertained.

A pal of gloom has descended in the area following the tragic incident.
