Three students of Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar (BJB) Autonomous College in Bhubaneswar suffered severe cut injuries after some miscreants allegedly attacked them following an argument over playing cricket on the college playground on Saturday.

As per reports, all the miscreants were non-students who argued with the students over playing cricket on the college field.

Following the attack, all three injured students were shifted to a hospital for treatment.

Recently, three students of Maharishi College in Bhubaneswar were allegedly attacked by some non-students on Monday.

According to sources, a group of outsiders barged into the college campus and attacked the students leaving them injured.

On being informed about the incident, Sahid Nagar police rushed to the spot and started an investigation into the matter.

Similarly, a student of Rajendra University in Bolangir was grievously injured and another sustained injuries after allegedly being attacked with a razor blade by a non-student on the campus in February this year.

The miscreant came with a blade and threatened to kill a student, Rituraj Singh while asking for money. The miscreant reportedly slit the throat of Singh.

Rising cases of attacks on students on the campus by outsiders have raised concerns about the safety of the students.
