Odisha CM in the press meet in New Delhi
Delhi Police arrested three persons in connection with the alleged rape of an Odia woman in New Delhi, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi informed on Monday.
In a presser held in New Delhi, the CM said, “Police identified three persons and have arrested them. An auto-rickshaw used in the crime has also been seized. The State government has requested Delhi Police to expedite the ongoing probe.”

The State government had taken strong note of the rape case. In coordination with Delhi Police, the Odisha Government ensured adequate treatment for the rape survivor, the CM added.
Worth mentioning, the rape allegations were brought on October 11. A 34-year-old woman was allegedly raped and later dumped in a semi-conscious state. A passerby spotted the woman in the Sarai Kale Khan area and informed the police. A police team reached the spot and took her to AIIMS Trauma Care Center for immediate treatment.
