Woman bites off youth’s lips after he tries to rape her

A married woman from Meerut showed exceptional courage and bit off the lips of a man after he allegedly tried to rape her. The shocking incident has been reported from a village under Daraula police limits of Meerut in Uttar Pradesh.

The accused identified as Mohit Saini of Lavad village has been booked for attempted rape and molestation.

According to sources, the woman had gone to the field for work. Finding her alone, the accused came from behind and overpowered her. The accused choked her as she tried to shout and started dragging her into the field.

The accused allegedly molested her and forcibly tried to kiss her. However, the woman fought back and bit the lips of the accused with her teeth. She bit it so hard that a portion of his lips fell on the ground.

As he writhed in pain, the woman shouted for help following which locals rushed to the spot and caught hold of the accused. He was then beaten black and blue by the crowd who then handed him over to the police.

The police took the injured youth to the nearby CHC and got him treated. A social media user shared the picture of the accused and shared the story on Twitter. Meanwhile, netizens are demanding bravery award for the girl.

“Govt, should award that girl with some bravery medal,” demanded a user while another user wrote, “She gave him a smile for life.”

Another user commented, “Every girl should do it. Kudos to the brave girl.” 

“Finding the married woman alone, Mohit Saini, the accused from Lavad town, tried to rape her. A case of attempt of rape and molestation has been registered against him based on the complaint of the woman’s husband. The case is being investigated and further legal action will be initiated based on the investigation,” Daurala police station in-charge Sanjay Kumar Sharma was quoted as saying by ETV Bharat.
