Mafia turned politician Atiq Ahmed, brother Ashraf shot dead in Prayagraj

Gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmad and his brother Ashraf were shot dead in Prayagraj on Saturday night.

The duo was shot when being taken for a medical check-up in Prayagraj by Police, informed the news agency ANI.

He was under trial in Raju Pal murder case.

Earlier on Thursday, Mohd Asad, his son along with shooter Ghulam, were shot dead in an encounter by a team of Special Task Force (STF) in Jhansi.
