Woman entrepreneur found hanging in Bhubaneswar

A female entrepreneur’s body was found hanging in her apartment in Hanspal area under Bhubaneswar’s Pahal police limits on Thursday.

The deceased was reportedly staying with her boyfriend in the apartment who has been absent for the last three days.

No suicide note was reportedly found with the lady, and no allegations were made by her parents against anybody till the filing of this report.

Speaking to reporters, the IIC of Pahal Police Station, Suchitra Parida said, “No suicide note has been recovered from the apartment. The investigation is on and everything will be clear only after the probe.”

About the boyfriend of the deceased, Parida said, “They were in a live-in relationship and her family supported it. The family of the deceased is staying in another flat of the same apartment. Her boyfriend is out of town to attend a marriage function.”

Earlier, a techie, Sweta Utkal Kumari was also found hanging in her room in Bhubaneswar. Her boyfriend was under the police lens who was later booked by the police on charges of abetment of suicide.
