Odisha private bus owners threaten strike on July1 if 'long pending' demands aren't met

The Odisha Bus Owners' Association on Saturday threatened to go on strike from July 1 if their demands are not met by the State government by June 30.

The Odisha Bus Owners' Association on Saturday threatened to go on strike from July 1 if their demands are not met by the State government by June 30.

Addressing a press conference, Debendra Sahu, General Secretary of Odisha Bus Owners' Association said, "Our primary demand before the government was to allow us to transfer our permits to third party as and when required. The government had promised us to resolve the hurdle but it has been six months since its assurance, we are still empty-handed."
