Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik owns property worth Rs 64,9789220 as on December 31, 2021, a marginal decrease of Rs 30,543 from the previous year.

The statement of Patnaik's assets and liabilities uploaded on the official website of the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) reveals that he has moveable assets including bank accounts in New Delhi, Bhubaneswar, Hinjlicut and Bargarh, jewellery and car (Ambassador Car) amounting to Rs 12,09,25,031, and immovable assets worth Rs 52,88,64,190.

The CM’s immovable assets include his two-thirds share in Naveen Nivas, located near Airport road, Bhubaneswar, worth Rs 9,52,46,190 (approximately). He has also 50% share in property situated at 3, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Road, New Delhi, worth Rs 43,36,18,000 (approximately). He has inherited both the properties from his mother.

Last year the Chief Minister declared that his total assets stood at Rs 64,98,197.63 which included movable property worth Rs 13,404,503.1 and immovable inherited properties valued at Rs 63,64,07,261.

Apart from the CM, all the ministers of Patnaik’s cabinet have also disclosed the value of their moveable and immovable properties.

While Science and Technology Minister Ashok Chandra Panda’s total value of moveable and immovable assets stands at Rs 6,49,04,504.50, Health Minister Naba Das has revealed that his wife has 75 vehicles in her name and all the vehicles are commercial ones. Of them, 18 were procured alone in 2021. 

Similarly, Rural Development Minister Pritiranjan Ghadai, Handlooms, Textiles and Handicrafts Minister Rita Sahu, Steel and Mines Minister Prafulla Kumar Mallik mentioned that they don’t possess any four-wheelers. At the same time, Minister of Tourism Ashwini Patra announced that he has a 2002-model Hero Honda Splendor motorcycle, which is worth Rs 2000.
