IPS Reshuffle In Odisha: Nayagarh SP Transferred, 12 Other Districts Get New Police Chiefs
The Odisha government on Friday effected a major reshuffle in the mid level Indian Police Service (IPS) ranks in the State by shunting several SPs from their present postings.
Akhileshvar Singh, who is presently Commandant, SOG has been transferred and posted as SP, Jagatsinghpur.
The incumbent Jagatsinghpur SP Prakash R has been transferred and posted to Vigilance organisation.

Mayurbhana SP P S Parshottamdas, a 2013 batch IPS officer, becomes the new SP of Nabarangpur district.
Rahul Jain, the current SP of Nuapada, has also been transferred and posted as Bargarh SP. Similarly, the present AIGP Head Quarter Pratyush Diwaker has been transferred and posted as Nuapada SP.
The 2016 batch IPS officer and the present SP of Malkangiri, K R Dnyandeo has been posted as Mayurbhanj SP while Nabarangpur SP PS Meena has been given the charge of Malkangiri.
Besides, S Dev Dutta Singh, who is on repatriation from Central deputation, has been posted as IGP, Head Quarter.
