2015 IAS topper Tina Dabi’s love story had earlier grabbed the headlines for her outstanding performance in the UPSC civil services exam. But she was later more in news for falling in love with fellow officer Athar Amir Khan and tying the knot.
However, Tina and Athar later had a mutual divorce and Tina again fell in love with fellow officer Pradeep Gawande, and is happily married now.
A love story developing at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, LBSNAA- the place where all the dreams of IAS aspirants come true- is not new.
Situated in Mussoorie and termed as the premier training institute of civil services in India, LBSNAA is the place where all the probationers report for their phase 1 training. The Academy moulds candidates into the highest rank officers of the country.
Coming to the love stories, in the list here, we first have IAS Artika Shukla and IAS Jasmeet Singh Sandhu.
Artika, an IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre, hails from UP’s Varanasi while Jasmeet, who secured 3rd rank in 2015 UPSC, is from Delhi. Both reportedly fell in love during their training period and later tied the knot in 2017.

According to Zee News, Jasmeet got the Rajasthan cadre and Artika got the Union Territory cadre when the cadre was allotted (though later Artika joined the Rajasthan cadre citing marriage to IAS Jasmeet).
Another love story is of 2001 batch IAS officer Smita Sabharwal and IPS officer of same batch, Dr. Akun Sabharwal. The officer-duo reportedly fell in love and tied the knot in 2004.
Presently, Smita and Akun have two children. The name of their son is Nanak Sabharwal while the daughter’s name is Bhuvis Sabharwal.
The third love story is of IAS Srishti Jayant Deshmukh and IAS Dr. Nagarjuna B. Gowda. The duo is from different states but fell in love and got married. Due to their marriage, they are now reportedly in the same state cadre.
