Both her parents have an Engineering Services background and were given posts in Bhopal.

Tina’s father Jaswant Dabi has also passed the IES exam and works as General Manager at BSNL.

Incidentally, Tina’s younger sister Ria Dabi has also cleared the UPSC examination and has credited her success to her mother Himali, just like Tina.

It is because when Tina decided to pursue a civil services examination, her mother took voluntary retirement so that she can offer full support to her daughter.
