Two siblings from Odisha have been recently recognised by Forbes among the India’s 100 great people managers. They are two brothers Gobinda Chandra Pattnaik and Dibyajyoti Pattnaik.
Gobinda has been recognised for this honour for his commendable job in helping the mentally challenged patients, taking care of the orphan children as of his own. He has also provided financial assistance to the educated youth of the State to strart their own enterprenureship and become self-reliant.
Gobinda was conferred the prestigious OTV Citizen Award in 2012 for social service.
“We have set a target to make the economically weaker section of people self reliant. We have started our journey from Odisha and now our base has been spread across 28 states,” said Gobinda.
“We are elated that Forbes has recognised our dedication and hard work and given us a special honour. It will motivate us further,” he said.
Dibyajyoti has over 16 years of experience in microfinance, micro-enterprise development and development sector consulting. He is working to promote financial independence, providing the right resources to people, contributing massively in the critical areas of women empowerment, sanitation, health and child protection.
