As per the traditional Indian medical system known as Ayurveda, dust particles increase the body's Kapha dosha, which in turn causes an imbalance of the three doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha). This sets off immunological responses and causes an accumulation of ama toxins in the body, resulting in uncomfortable sensations including inflammation and sinus infections.
