If you are yet to apply for a slew of vacancies announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) recently, you must brace up now as the last date of online recruitment application (ORA) submission is today, September 16, till 11:59 PM.

Candidates need to fill their particulars in the online recruitment applications carefully as submission of wrong information may lead to rejection through computer based shortlisting apart from debarment by the Commission, the official notification read.

Details of the UPSC Vacancy:

 

Assistant Director (Plant Pathology) in Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine and Storage, Faridabad, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare: Two Posts

Pay Scale: Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC, General Central Services Group-“A” Gazetted (Non-Ministerial).

Age: 35 years

Educational Qualification: M.Sc. Degree in Plant Pathology or M.Sc. Degree in Agriculture with specialization in Plant Pathology or M.Sc. Degree in Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology from a recognized University or Institution.

Agricultural Engineer (Instrumentation) in Farm Machinery Training and Testing Institute, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare: 1 Post

Pay Scale: Level- 07 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC, General Central Services Group-“B” Gazetted (Non-Ministerial).

Age: 33 years 

Educational Qualification: Degree in Electronics Engineering or Instrumentation Technology from a recognized University or Institute.

Assistant Geologist in Geological Survey of India, Ministry of Mines: 20 Posts.

Pay Scale: Level- 08 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC, General Central Services Group-“B” Gazetted Non-Ministerial.

Age: 30 years

Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Geo-exploration or Mineral Exploration or Engineering Geology or Geo-chemistry or Marine Geology or Earth Science & Resource Management or Oceanography and Coastal Area Studies (Coastal Geology) or Environmental Geology or Geo-informatics from a recognized University or Institution.
