SSC MTS, Havaldar registration date extended; check important notice on stenographer skill test

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has extended the deadline to apply for Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff, and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2022.

The deadline to apply for the posts was February 17 and it has now been extended till February 24, 2023. Registrations are going on for the SSC MTS Exam 2023 which will be conducted in the month of April 2023.

“Relevant part in the notice of Examination where closing date has been treated as crucial date for ascertaining eligibility, will now be as per new closing date i.e. 24-02 2023,” SSC notice read.

Important Dates

Last date and time for receipt of online applications: 24-02-2023 (23:00)

Last date and time for making online fee payment: 26-02-2023 (23:00)

Last date for payment through Challan (during working hours of Bank): 27-02-2023

Dates of ‘Window for Application Form Correction’ and online payment of Correction Charges: 02-03-2023 to 03-03- 2023 (23:00)

In another notice, the commission has announced to reconduct the Skill Test of Stenographer Grade C & D Examination, 2022.

"Keeping in view the large number of complaints received from the candidates and feedback received from Regional Offices of the Commission regarding the technical glitches faced during the conduct of Skill Test of Stenographer Grade C & D Examination, 2022 on 15.02.2023 (Shift 1 & 2), the Commission has decided to cancel the said exam and to reconduct the same on a fresh date only for those candidates who have appeared and registered themselves for Skill Test on 15.02.2023," the SSC said.

“Fresh date of Skill Test of Stenographer Grade C & D Examination, 2022 in respect of the candidates indicated above will be declared in due course,” SSC notice added.
