The Sports Authority of India (SAI) has invited applications for the recruitment of Coach, Senior Coach, Chief Coach and High-Performance Coach on a contract and deputation (including short-term contract) basis.
Eligible and eligible candidates can apply online at the official website at sportsauthorityofindia.nic.in.

Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess Diploma or Equivalent in Coaching from SAI, NS NI/ Medal winner in Olympic/World Championship/ Twice Olympic Participation/ Participation in Olympic/ Paralympics and International Event/ Dronacharya Awardee.

The normal deputation tenure for Coach and Senior Coach is 3 years, Chief Coach is 4 years and High-Performance Coach is 5 years, which can be extended up to 7 years (as per Recruitment Rules of SAI), depending on the requirements, or till the age of 60 years, whichever is earlier.
The personnel may be repatriated prematurely if the performance is not found to be satisfactory.
The initial contract shall be for a period of one year and extendable in a cycle of one year subject to a maximum age of 65 years.
However, the contract can be terminated by giving a 30 days notice period by either party i.e. SAI and the employee. In extreme cases, the contract can be terminated by SAI with immediate effect without a notice period.
The other terms & conditions necessary for appointment in SAI will be mentioned in the detailed agreement that shall be signed by the selected candidate at the time of appointment.
