The Sixteenth Finance Commission (SFC) has invited applications for the engagement of young professionals and consultants. The Commission’s tenure is up to October 31, 2025. The engagements will be on contractual basis.
The scrutiny of applications, eligibility criteria or interaction will be done by a Committee or senior officers of the Commission till all the slots are filled. The tenure of appointment of consultant would be initially for a period of one year.
The maximum tenure can be extended up to tenure of the Commission subject to performance and professionalism.

1. Young Professional: 6
Upper Age: 32 Years
Fixed Monthly Remuneration: Rs 80,000
2. Consultant: 3
Upper Age: 40 years
Fixed Monthly Remuneration: 1,20,000
3. Senior Consultant: 3
Upper Age: 45 years
Fixed Monthly Remuneration: 1,75,000
Educational Qualification: Master’s or MBA degree (in/with Economics or Finance or similar subjects) or ICWA or CA
