Rail Coach Factory announces vacancy for 550 apprentice posts, check details

Rail Coach Factory, RCF, Kapurthala has published a notification inviting applications from candidates for Apprentice posts.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official site of RCF at rcf.indianrailways.gov.in.

The last date to apply for the posts is till March 4.

Rail Coach Factory Recruitment Details

Total Vacancy: 550

• Fitter: 215 posts

• Welder: 230 posts

• Machinist: 5 posts

• Painter: 5 posts

• Carpenter: 5 posts

• Electrician: 75 posts

• AC & Ref. Mechanic: 15 posts

Educational Qualification

The Candidates must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board and also possess National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training.

Age Limit

The age of candidate should me between 15 years to 24 years as on March 31, 2023.

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST candidates: 5 years

• OBC candidates: 3 years

• PWD candidates: 10 years

Application Fee

• UR Candidates: Rs 100

• SC/ST/PWD/Women Candidates: Nil

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be on the basis of the merit list prepared by all candidates who apply against the notification. The merit list will be prepared for the purpose on the basis of the percentage of marks in matriculation + ITI marks in the trade in which the apprentice is to be done.
