The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has announced postponement of the computer skill test for the posts of Block Social Security Officer (BSSO)- 2017.  

The Commission has rescheduled the test to November 2, 2021 considering the representations of large number of candidates.

“Considering the representations of large number of candidates Commission is pleased to re-schedule the Computer Skill Test for the post of Block Social Security Officer-2017 to 02.11.2021,” the Commission stated in the latest notification.

Candidates who have cleared the main examination and shortlisted for the skill test can download their admit card from the official website of the Commission, www.ossc.gov.in from October 28. 

“Candidates concerned are advised to download their Admission Letter in the link provided in the Home page (What's New) of the website of the Commission www.ossc.gov.in from 28.10.2021 onwards by logging-in their User ID & password to appear the examination (Application No is the User Id & Date of Birth is the password),” the notification read.

“The candidates are advised to keep constant touch with the Commission's website to know further updates,” the notification added. 
The official notification for recruitment of 151 posts of Block Social Security Officer was issued by the OSSC in 2017. Online applications from eligible candidates were invited for the posts between November 9, 2017 and December 8, 2017. 

The computer skill test is the last and final stage of the selection process and successful candidates will be called for documents verification. The successful candidates who will be appointed in the posts will draw salary in the pay scale of Rs 9300 to Rs 34,800/- plus Grade Pay of Rs 4200.
