The Sainik School, Bhubaneswar has issued a recruitment advertisement to fill up various vacancies on contractual basis and one vacancy of lower division clerk (LDC) on regular basis. 

“The contractual period would be maximum up to August 23, 2022 in case of no interruption in functioning of the school due to COVID-19. In case of interruption, the contractual period may be reduced,” said an official notification.

Vacancy & Educational Qualification  

Art Master: 1 post
Master’s degree in fine art (with painting specialisation)
Ward Boys: 5 posts
Matriculation or equivalent examination and ability to converse fluently in English.
Part Time Medical Officer: 1 post
MBBS Degree 
Horse Riding Instructor: 1 post
Experience as Horse Riding Instructor in a school/college/ horse riding club.  
Band Master: 1 post
Potential Band master/ Band Major/Drum Major Course at the AEC Training College and Centre, Panchmarthi or equivalent naval/Air Force Courses 
Lower Division Clerk: 1 post
Matriculation and typing speed of at least 40 words per minute 

Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for the post of Art master is 35 years while the candidates must be below 50 years for all other posts as on first date of publication of advertisement.   

Salary:

Art master will draw a salary of Rs 35,000 per month, Ward Boys Rs 20,000, Part Time Medical Officer Rs 40,000, Horse Riding Instructor Rs 16,000, Band Master Rs 20,000 while the LDC will get salary in the pay scale of Rs 19,900-63,200.

The last date for receipt of duly filled applications, fee and documents by post is November 5, 2021.

Application Fee:

Application fee in the form of a Bank Demand Draft for Rs 400 (Rs 250- for SC/ST) drawn in favour of "the Principal, Sainik School Bhubaneswar" payable at any nationalised bank in Bhubaneswar. 

Selection Process:

Written Test, Skill Test and Interview (wherever applicable). The candidates securing minimum essential marks/shortlisted in the written test will only be permitted to take part in further selection process.
