The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has published the programme of the upcoming written examination to be conducted for recruitment of Electrician Grade-II.   

"The Written Examination for the post of Electrician Grade-II under EIC (Electricity) cum-PCEI will be held on October 29, 2021 through Computer Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) at different centres of the state," the Commission said in its latest notification issued today.

As per the programme schedule, the written examination will be conducted on October 29 in a single sitting. Candidates who have applied for the post will appear for one paper comprising 100 questions (each question carries one mark).

The examination will be of one and half hour duration. Questions will be of objective/MCQ type to be asked from ITI (Electrician). There will be negative marking (0.25) for each wrong answer.   

Sharing information regarding the availability of admit cards for the written examination, the Commission said, "Candidates concerned are advised to download their Admission Letter by clicking on the link provided under What's New section of the Home page of website "www.ossc.gov.in" from October 24, 2021 onwards using Application No. & Date of Birth to appear the examination in the respective venue." 

"COVID-19 appropriate behaviour, like use of sanitizer, social distancing, wearing of 3(three) layer mask must be adhered to during the examination," the Commission notice undersigned by its secretary added. 

It is worth mentioning here that a total of 49 vacancies of ITI Electrician Grade 2 will be filled up by the OSSC through the recruitment examination.
