The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has invited applications for recruitment of Insurance Medical Officers in Group A (Junior Branch) of Odisha Employees’ State Insurance Medical Services cadre under Labour and ESI department.

As per the official notification, 85 Insurance Medical Officers posts will be filled in pay scale of Rs 56,100 (Level 12, Cell 1 of pay matrix as per ORSP Rules, 2017) with usual Dearness Allowance. In case of selection and joining in the service, the Specialists would be getting a monthly incentive of Rs 30,000 for super specialisation, Rs 20,000 for Post-Graduation and Rs 10,000 for PG Diploma qualifications recognised by the government of Odisha.

The link for registration, re-registration and payment of examination fee will be available on the OPSC website from November 12 to December 13, 2021. The last date for submission of registered online application is December 20, 2021.

Mode of Selection:

-The selection of candidates for recruitment of Insurance Medical Officer will be made on the basis of written test.

-The written examination shall comprise of one paper of 200 marks.

-There shall be 200 questions carrying 1 mark in multiple choice question(MCQ) pattern.

-The duration of the examination will be 3 hours.

-There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers.

- The syllabus shall be as per the Medical Council of India (MCI) syllabus for M.B.B.S course.

Place of Examination: The written examination will be held at Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.
