The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has decided to conduct 'exit verification' of all candidates who will be appearing for computer-based exams held by the Commission. 

The Commission has released a notification informing candidates of the details of this new rule for all the upcoming computer-based exams.

"Candidates of the examinations of the Staff Selection Commission are hereby informed that it has been decided to conduct exit verification of all the candidates. During the exit verification process, biometric data of the candidates (Photograph and Left Thumb Impression (LTI) etc.) will be collected before candidates are allowed to leave the computer labs after the examination," read the official notice.

The Commission further urged candidates to cooperate in the new norm. "All candidates appearing in the Computer Based Examinations of the Commission are expected to co-operate in this process," it added.

Recently, the Commission had sought online application for Selection Posts Phase-9 2021, to fill up a total of vacancies of 3,261 posts in various government departments/offices.

As per the notification issued by the Commission, the Computer Based Examination for the recruitment drive will tentatively be conducted in the month of January/February 2022. 

Candidates selected for the posts will draw salary in the pay level-3 Rs 21700-Rs 69100.
